Grants-in-Aid Application for 2024-25

Gamma Upsilon Chapter of NC DKG and Delta Kappa Gamma Society International offers grants-in-aid for student expenses related to pursuing a degree in professional teacher licensure or certifications. Preference is given to students who attend or work in Transylvania County Schools or attend institutes of higher education in Transylvania County. Grants-in-aid of a minimum of $500 are awarded for up to three awardees. Past awardees are eligible to reapply.
This application requires a short 250-500 words essay about your future teaching plans and why you chose your field of education.

The Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will continue to convey a sense of openness and trust with the recipient by leaving the specific use of the grants-in-aid money to the discretion of the recipient.
